Sitting on the cross roads of Africa and the Middle East, Jordan and Egypt have a lure that very few countries can boast. Ancient structures and lost cities drew me to their desolate deserts. It was once I was on the ground that I realised it was the people and their welcoming cultures that now offered the greatest lure. Hospitality was second to none and those with the least would offer the most. The people's smiles filled me with joy and I knew I was experiencing life that was truly synonymous to these ancient cross roads. These smiles & cultures had been shaped by millenia of passing traders, wars and ideologies that continued to evolve & has resulted in a place like no other. This is a small collection of the greatest sights and the people I met whilst adding my name to the millions of others who had passed through these cross roads in time.
